Summary: Canon-verse origin story, how Arthur became a pointman. The first time Arthur shared dreams, he died a horrible death. Two weeks later he was addicted: to dreams, to power, to freedom, and to that stubborn bastard, Eames.
Notes: Ahhhh, this fic. I'm not sure how it happened, but this has become one of the most challenging fics I've ever written. I did my best to incorporate as many themes from the soundtrack as possible and I hope I've done it justice! Many thanks to my betas TK and Chypie, everyone who posted on my feedback entry, and my artist Birddi, for giving me such inspirational music and total freedom over the direction of the fic.
