If I can cap it, it's canon

On the radio this morning they were talking about a new wallet that costs $825 and can only be opened by scanning your fingerprint. My very first thought was, "Damn, Fischer's gotta upgrade!"
So over the weekend I watched Inception for about the fifth time. Every time I watch it, it reminds me of something I'd forgotten, or tweaks my interpretation a little, or reigns me in from fandom, but this time I noticed something I hadn't before.
If you've followed my fic The Helix Trap at all you probably know already that my fic centers a lot around Daddy Issues, specifically Eames and Robert's. So when I watched the movie again, I paid particular attention to Cobb and Eames's conversation in Mombassa, and I noticed something: when Eames says, "The relationship with the father," he twitches. Having watched an episode or two of Lie To Me I believe I have enough scientific learnings to declare this to be a SIGNIFICANT MICRO-EXPRESSION!!! Take a look!

And in case you missed it:

LOOK AT THAT LAST FRAME. If you stare at it for too long (i.e. as long as I have) you begin to sense an inner turmoil. Unresolved paternal anxiety. Or is it wistful reminiscence? Is it dry detachment? Grim resolution? ALL OF THE ABOVE?
EAMES + DADDY ISSUES = CANON
Proof that isolating single frames of a movie can be used to prove any interpretation, lol.
In other news, my bang is up to 16k and fuck me in the ear, it needs about another 10k. Sorry Helix, you gotta wait.
