First post!!!! (sorta)

tanithkitty has needed a new computer for a long time now, but just recently my poor Ashley has been feeling his years. Constant error messages, freezing during startup, and the burner hasn't worked for almost a year. So when TK and I went to Best Buy I gave in.
My new computer is an HP Desktop; 1 gig RAM, 250 gig hard drive, a DVD burner, built in A/V outputs... It's very shiny, and all for a decent price. I've decided to name him Enji (that will only make sense to a few people, but I think it fits my new comp pretty will).
And so, farewell my Ashley! I know it sounds funny, but I'm actually a little sad. I use my computer for so many things (most notably my work), I've become really attached to that Dell. More than that, my parents finally sold their house--the house I grew up in. They're all just things but it's strange thinking they're not going to be around anymore. *sniffle*
Anyway, I'm happy in my new place with my new baby *pets shiny tower*. And to think, I'm affording it with the money I make translating Japanese yaoi porn. (While existing on a diet of ramen and hot dogs, but hey, we all have priorities).
