croikWell, that's finally it. My PS2 is dead. I knew it wouldn't last much longer (it's over six years old, and the mod didn't help it...not to mention the tape holding it together...). A couple weeks ago it stopped being able to play PSX games and now nothing! How am I supposed to get in my DDR!? :(
It really picked the worst time to die, too. PS3's going to be out soon enough that buying a new one doesn't make much sense, even if I wanted to spend the money. But that's still months away, and there are games coming out I want to play. And there's no guarantee I'll be able to play my imports on PS3, either(Until they manage to find a PS3 mod >.>).
Is there a way to replace just the lense? Or would that be more trouble than it's worth? Either way it looks like I'll be stealing back my old PSX, which means...old school gaming!! Some of those I haven't touched in years. My fandom priorities are about to get way outta wack.
And speaking of fandom, who's doing Yuletide Fandom this year? If you haven't done it before, it's a Secret Santa-like fanfiction exchange that goes on every year. You write in what kind of fic you want, what kind you'd be willing to write, and then they match you up! Ironically, the person I wrote for last year ended up writing mine XD. But it was a lot of fun, and especially if it's an obscure fandom you're after. Go check it out <3
