croikMy boss called me today, just after I received my latest book to translate (That's right! I'm whipping them out!!). To my delight it is one of the newest additions to the Be Beautiful label. But it's not coming out until next year, and I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to talk too much about it...even though it's already been announced so I don't see why not, but still...
In any case, we had an interesting phone conversatin...
Boss: So, you got my package?
Me: Yeah, I've been flipping through it. It looks fun.
Boss: Yeah, it's, um, *flustered chuckle*, it's a little weird.
Me: No really, it's fine.
Boss: Don't worry, the next one will be a normal book, I promise.
Me: No, really, it's okay!

So then he tells me the Be Beautiful series has been trying to avoid "explitives." AKA I can't translate Asami as saying, "You just came here so I'd fuck you, right?"
Because...Akihito getting fucked on the next panel isn't at all explicit.
