croikOkay, so whenever there's a case of fanfic plagiarism (or other plagiarism) one of the first things the culprit usually says is "maybe I read the line, and INTERNALIZED it, and later repeated it without realzing!" My reaction to this is usually "NO WAI" but here's an embarrassing story:
I'm writing a NaruMitsu fic for the PW fandom (Phoenix/Edgeworth). It's my favorite genre to write in, drama/romance (because as much as I like action and gore, I'm still a bit of a sap at heart). Just recently I finished writing chapter 7 in which the First Kiss finally takes place, and it came out pretty much just how I wanted it. Whether or not it's good, I won't really know until I post XD;;

igiari, which is the same place I posted my NokoMitsu fic a few months back. I know a lot of the same people who read that are reading this fic now, so I'd like to offer some extra variety in so much as the foreplay and positions (teehee). So I went back to the NokoMitsu fic to remember exactly what they'd done together, and wouldn't you know, I found a line I had JUST WRITTEN in my chapter 7.
Two lines, from two chapters I wrote months apart, referring to the same person, written almost EXACTLY the same way. I was off by maybe one or two words.
Very embarrassing :O
I changed it a little in chapter 7, but it...still fits, so I didn't want to take it out. It's not cheating if I steal from myself, right?
I'm just irritated that I didn't notice XD;;;
If someone spots it once chapter 7 is up, I'll give them an e-cookie >.>
In other news, for some reason I joined a Drakengard forum full of retards.
They're not all awful. But some of them are so clueless I can't help but wonder if they really played the games. Eris talks about her period and people think she's talking about getting raped (granted, her talking about her period is weird enough). People discuss whether or not Furiae could give birth when she's already DEAD. Not to mention one little 13 year old who's driving me crazy with her big, ugly ass sig and all around idiocy.
No, Caim is not in love with Manah. HE BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HER WHEN SHE WAS SIX YEARS OLD. THIS IS NOT LOVE. HE HATES HER AND WANTS HER TO SUFFER FOR ALL ETERNITY. This is pretty much the same reason that Manah's not in love with him, either, for that matter.
I guess it doesn't help that I'm at the end of D2, final boss, and two hits is enough to make you dead. I just know the last ending is going to suck. It's not really worth it to level Nowe up enough to beat the game. But I'll probably do it anyway.
And then post to the forum how FUCKING STUPID Nowe is before flying away from that place forever. HA HA HA
It's really sad when the first Drakengard game was driven forward by the merciless armies of the Empire hounding your every step, where as Drakengard 2's story can only move forward with Nowe being a complete tool and a clueless jackass.
Hm, but that's a rant for another time.
