OMG THE ABS, THE ABBBBBBBS

croikSo I just got back from watching 300. I have a refreshed appreciation for the male figure.
Seriously, has any movie ever had as many delicious hot sweaty man-abs as 300?? No. I don't think it's possible. Everywhere you look, taut muscle and/or nipples. Whenever there weren't man-nipples on the screen, there were tits. Nipple nipple ABS ABS ABS--ooh, juicy thighs--ABS NIPPLE ABS ABS THIGH OMG ASS ABS THIGH ABS ABS ABS.
And omg I loved every fucking minute!
The movie was fan-fucking-tastic. Dare I even say as fabulous as the drawn-on eyebrows of the Persian Emperor? The effects (with the exception of maybe an obviously CG rhino) were gorgeous, and the cinematography wasn't just awesome, but unique among the CLOSE UP-SLOW MO-CLOSE UP DRAMATIC PAUSE BLUR BLUR BLUR of the rest of Hollywood action. Well, there was a lot of slow mo. But done in such a refreshing, billowing way. Nothing beats a half naked King shoulder-slamming stinky peons.
Dramatic, gruesome, bloody, sexy, bold, and overall a superbly entertaining experience. Made me glad that, as an MSU alumni, I can call myself a Spartan :D
And to every nay-sayer who complains about historical inaccuracy...who gives a shit? It's not like some of my favorite video games didn't feature Nobunaga, Japanese general depicted as the King of Hell and an inhuman monster. No one is pretending that the Persians ACTUALLY had an army of elite troll-faced ninjas. It's a movie--it's entertainment--it's fun. And a whole damn lot of it!
Gotta go, just put on Sin City. Marv's kicking in windshields >3 >3 >3
