croikCosplay report! All I have left is to get the bracelet from Sil, cook my cookie-badge, and do my hair :D (along with some ironing, poor vest is a little wrinkly,and pants need a fix on the hem....).
Some other exciting news that I haven't mentioned here yet is that right after Anime North (literally the Wednesday after the Monday I get back) I'm heading off to Las Vegas to attend Capcom's Captivate '08 Event! That's right, Capcom is paying to have me flown out to their press-only event as a member of their "Players' Club" and representative of AA fandom. Pretty damn sweet, huh? >:D
And I thought CR would never be more than a hobby XD
They sent me my schedule, along with a few goodies. Some...strange, Vegas themed goodies. I'm suddenly worried I'm going to be the only female there XD;;;
That's a cigar, a cigar snippy thingy, poker chip mints, and a FLASK, in case you didn't believe your EYES.
A CAPCOM FLASK!
I'm gonna fill it with Dew.
