Heroes, what the fuck. Seriously.

croikSo I guess I don't post on my own LJ about TV much, but...seriously, what the FUCK is Heroes doing!?
They managed not to make Sylar into a total waste of time this season, and then they do another ridiculous "flashback" episode which was a complete waste of time and just added a few scenes into canon which had no business being there. That's why they didn't happen at the time. Because they're LAME.
Come ON, Sylar going suicidal with Elle his "angel" (fucking hell I almost hurled all over myself!) to save him!? Did the writer's forget this flashback of theirs takes place before her epiphany? Chronologically the next time we see her she's frying the crap out of innocent Irelanders, if I remember. And the next time she and Sylar meet, they fry the crap out of each other with (again, iirc) no obvious signs that they've ever met. And wtf is this finger-bullet power Sylar supposedly stole and has never used?

Fucking Heroes, I hate you. If you didn't come on between Chuck and Enemy I wouldn't be watching you anymore!
And I'm only watching Chuck because of Casey, and in this episode they made out so that makes it worth it. So I guess the only reason I'm watching Heroes is also because of Casey.

As for Enemy, the pilot ep was horrible and the show over all has very poor pacing, but at least Henry is getting better. But if it wasn't conveniently after Heroes I might not be watching it either.

In completely unrelated news, Top Chef is starting back up. I hope it's really good, because I've been bummed by the recent Top Design and Sheer Genius seasons. They just don't have the same punch. Probably because everyone in Top Design had no concept of what people ACTUALLY do in rooms and there is no such thing as a $600 hair cut that was worth it, ever. At least with Top Chef if something is cooked poorly it's pretty easy for anyone to say "This is undercooked," so I trust the judges more than on those other shows.
I want the Top Chef cookbook but I'm already sad that it probably won't have the spam recipe from season 3. I want to make it so bad :(
