Whenever I see someone say "I don't get that pairing" it makes me a little sad. So I decided to try and capture what I find most amusing/fascinating/moving about Inception's shipping possibilities, by combining two of my favorite things: PHOTOSHOP AND HAIKU!

They're all 5-7-5, or 5-7-5 5-7-5, or 5-7-5 7-7, which I think is also acceptable. Listed by pairing. Some cheeky, some serious. If some of them have a Softer World vibe it's only because I love it. ~ENJOY~

Notes: Ahhhh, this fic. I'm not sure how it happened, but this has become one of the most challenging fics I've ever written. I did my best to incorporate as many themes from the soundtrack as possible and I hope I've done it justice! Many thanks to my betas TK and Chypie, everyone who posted on my feedback entry, and my artist Birddi, for giving me such inspirational music and total freedom over the direction of the fic.

On the radio this morning they were talking about a new wallet that costs $825 and can only be opened by scanning your fingerprint. My very first thought was, "Damn, Fischer's gotta upgrade!"

So over the weekend I watched Inception for about the fifth time. Every time I watch it, it reminds me of something I'd forgotten, or tweaks my interpretation a little, or reigns me in from fandom, but this time I noticed something I hadn't before.

In other news, my bang is up to 16k and fuck me in the ear, it needs about another 10k. Sorry Helix, you gotta wait.

I am doing the laundry. This would not be an occurrence of note if not for the fact that I am terrified of my laundry basket. There's a huge metal wire sticking out of the bottom and I'm positive that if I let my guard down, it's going to spear me in my femoral artery and bleed me out within minutes. No seriously, I actually worry about this a lot.

Which means I should just stop using it, but I hate throwing my clothes in a sack :\

But in other, better news, I've cleared 10k on my i_rb! Now all it needs is...another 10k. Why so wordy, Croik?

And in other news I'd really love to contribute fanwork to help_japan but I'm so behind on everything, I'd feel bad promising someone a fic at this point. But I would like to donate! Do any of you guys have an auction up?

And in the final news, the guy where I work that apparently likes me has decided that he can't ask me out because he's afraid the boss would find out and not approve of fraternization. Which is fine, I had the same thought, but maybe he should have told ME that, not everyone else I work with, after having spread the rumor around the shop for the past SIX MONTHS that he was going to ask me out. Without having ever spoken more than 10 words to me personally. So now I'm "taken" by a guy I don't even know or like and will never date, because he's "so nice" that none of the other guys would overstep and ask me out. And I can't even tell everyone "I don't like him, don't worry about that" because we DON'T SPEAK and it would be so uncalled for to be that kind of bitch over a guy that never got around to asking me out in the first place. Especially one who everyone says is SO NICE, OMG.

How can a man be dickless and a wiener at the same time!?

BACK TO I_RB maybe I'll skip to the super gay porn just to stick it to the wieners that surround me.

EDIT: Just saw a commercial for Hanna, in which Cate Blanchett has short red hair. I was like "Oh shit got some Charla Banks up in here D:"

Because these last chapters are going to be tricky (and also because I'm working on my i_rb) I can't promise a return to a weekly posting schedule. BUT there is ZERO CHANCE of this fic being abandoned. In fact I can finally say for sure that it'll be 19 Chapters + ~sexilogue~ so hey we all have that to look forward to, lol.

I AM HOME!!!

They took my chest tube out and my lung didn't re-collapse, so now I'm home! Thanks everyone for the well wishes and hotness. I'm not allowed to fly in a plane or go deep sea diving for at least 4 weeks (there goes my shark date, lol) but otherwise I'm good to go, with some help from a painpill prescription. They never did figure out what caused my lung to cave in the first place, I don't fit the profile for this sort of thing (i.e. smokers) and I didn't get punched or stabbed, so...it's a mystery.

Guess I'm just lucky 8U
